One of the things I love most about digital scrapbooking is the ability to use and reuse the same product over and over again. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune or take hours to document your family memories. I think easier and faster and cheaper = best!
Why would I say that?
I love scrapbook products as much as anyone! However, even more than spending hours dragging out supplies and working endlessly on a perfect page, I love having a completed page and album! I love having something my kids can look at, remember and laugh and tell stories! The older I get, and the older my kids get, the more I cherish this!
So, today, I’m going to show you how I create 5 simple layouts using the same mini kit! Different photos, but the same mini! AND best of all, you can find the full kit version of this through my Scrap Club!
Nothing fancy, but wait until you see the 5 layouts!
Use a few pictures to create a gallery in the center of you paper and then sprinkle a few elements, write some journaling, dates, etc. and you’re done!
Large Photo Layout
A great way to quickly scrap a page when you have only one photo is to let the photo take up most the page! You can add a few elements, write journaling on the photo itself, and add a title to it. This is quick and easy and lets the photo tell most the story!
With this one, you can add the photo and cluster elements under or on top or around the photo. This doesn’t have to take a lot of time or require anything fancy. I also love using strips of paper behind the photo to give some depth and interest. You can learn more about doing this in my tutorial, Adding Paper Layers for Design.
Now it’s your turn! Do one of these layouts inspire something for your album?
