Journaling is a great way to explain your photos and give context to your layout!
But sometimes knowing exactly how to add it, where to add it and how to get it to look the way you want it, can be a little tricky! Today’s tutorial deal with these things while using Photoshop Elements 11. I use today’s free mini to scrap the layout! You can find out more about this mini below.
To get ready to add the text, I first scrapped most of the layout. Journaling is one of the last things I add so that I know exactly where I want it on my page.
Now it is time to journal. Watch the video below to see my tips for adding this, changing the font, the color, the alignment, etc.
Once I had my text added, I created my title and finished off the layout and saved it. Here it is in its final form:
