I love papers, especially ones with lots of fun patterns!
Way back in the day when I paper scrapped, I spent so much money on papers! I loved them! Now, as a designer, making papers is one of my favorite parts of a kit! So today’s tutorial is about using strips of papers and layering them to help create your design! Even with a mini kit, that may only have a few elements, you can still scrap a filled out page by using paper strips!
I also use this tutorial and the free mini for today to talk about a subject very near to my heart!
I am passionate about not only scrapping the good and wonderful details of our every day, but also the hard and the bad and the negative! It’s okay to write about those tough days! It’s okay to sometimes feel like a Negative Nancy! Goodness, how boring would our lives be if we all were only Positive Pattys? And honestly, finding a way to scrap the hard days is one of the best ways we can connect with others. If you want your kids and grandkids to know of the things you learned and how you overcame hard challenges, then scrap about them!
Okay, off my soap box now! Here is today’s video, with tips for scrapping with paper layers!
Now you give it a try! Use any of the minis in the Resource Library and see what you come up with!
