My favorite part of February is Valentine’s Day. I am not even sure why except that I love celebrating love and hearts with bright colors in the middle of winter! It helps to break things up a bit!
Today, I’m going to show you how to create your own print using the brushes I just released! They are 30% off this weekend only!
To get started, we’re going to load the brushes into your PSE program. Click on the brush icon on the left panel and follow the instructions on the image below:
This will load the brushes into the box and you can scroll down to see them there. If you get an error message and can’t install in your version of PSE, the product also includes the png file for each brush so you can just use that.
Next, open a document for 8.5×11
You can fill it with white or whatever color or paper you’d like:
I’m going to use the stamp of the latte and I clipped a light brown to it:
Now I’m going to use the stamp (or in this case the png) for the Latte word art:
Now I want to add a little heart to it, as well as change the straw to a striped straw. To do this, I’ll start with the straw. I’m going to pull in a striped paper:
I turned it so the stripes would be on a diagonal and now I’m going to fit it a little better, crop it to the straw (using Command/Control G) and then erase any that are on the cup’s lid:
Now to add a heart and clip the red to it and it will be ready for printing!
Now I’ll print and add to a frame and I have an easy decoration I can use in my home for the month of February! I’m thinking this one will be super cute in the kitchen!
Here it is printed, framed and hanging on the wall in my kitchen!
And here is today’s download:
