Banners are an awesome decoration for any holiday! I love how easy they are to print, cut out, assemble and hang up! I try to do a banner for every holiday, and sometimes even more than one! The great thing about the banner I have for you today, is that it is editable! That means you can change the letters to be whatever you want and then print as many as you need! Be sure to check it out below!
Now, not all PDF’s or banners have this capability. If the file says it is editable, then I’m going to walk through how easy it is to edit them on your own computer! It only take Adobe Acrobat which is a free program.
Here is the one I will be using for today’s example and it is available in my Resource Library:
So this comes with a one page PDF. If I open it in Adobe Acrobat, it looks like this:
On the right hand side, where it says “Tools”, I click and it gives a drop down menu:
I choose “Edit Text & Images” and then click on the A:
You can type in a different letter, like B:
If you also notice, about halfway down on the option section, you can change the font, the size, the color, the justification, etc. Here is me changing out the text:
Once you have the text how you like it, you can print directly from there. Change each letter to spell out what you want, print, cut and assemble your banner! So easy! Now it’s your turn to practice!
