Do you sometimes find that you are the one taking the picture and very rarely find yourself IN the picture?
We all have plenty of reasons for this, right? It’s easier to just snap the picture with everyone else in it because they are the ones we are focused on in that moment. And let’s face it, you probably have a million excuses right? Your hair isn’t done just right, you’re still in the process of losing that last baby weight, you are too tired to be bothered, you aren’t wearing the right clothing, and on the list goes.
But what are we depriving ourselves and our loved ones from when we withhold ourselves from the photo? Is it worth it?
One of my goals this year is to get in the picture more! It has been sooooo hard! I am so critical of everything about myself in those pictures, but I know that someday I will be glad I was there. I want my kids to remember me in their lives and in the photos not just as always the woman behind the camera.
So set up a mini tripod. I found one for under $5 and set your phone or camera to the timer setting! It is worth the extra steps!
And get in the picture!
