Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!
Its a great time to get a jump on ideas! Whether you are planning a fun little gift for a friend or want to give something to multiple people, you’ll love how easy this printable is to put together. And while it may take a little bit of time, there is hardly any expense in it at all! The printable is FREE below and then it is just printing it out on cardstock/paper and buying the chocolate! A great little craft for only a few dollars!
My 10 year old daughter was sitting with me as I was testing out the sizing and folding. She was enamored! As soon as I got all the dimensions correct and printed my final design, she asked for one to make too! It was a ton of fun to sit together and cut and paste and create!
I made this fun little box and three wrapper designs. It fits perfectly with the Hershey mini candy bars. You can do just the candy bars or make the box to go with them:
To create your own mini chocolate box and covers, you’ll need:
Printed Covers: The covers can be printed on regular paper. You can use the FREE set from my Resource Library!
Scissors: Cut out the printed items.
Glue: I just used a few little dots of hot glue.
Mini Candy Bars:The Hershey brand work best.
First, print the sheet (however many times you’d like) and get your scissors ready!
Cut along the solid lines and fold on the dotted:
I glued the long sides first together, leaving the tabs out:
Then I applied glue on the inside of the end folds and held the tabs there before folding the top over:
Here it is mostly complete:
Then I folded on the dotted lines of the cover:
Then I glued together and slid over the box. The candy bars were easy to cut up their wrappers and glue over the little bars. I added them in the box and ta-da! Craft Magic!
