Word tags are a great way to do journaling or add to your title or just spruce your layout with words and accenting your message! In today’s tutorial, I’m going to use a set of word art brushes that you can use to create your own word tags. Be sure to read all the way through and find the FREE word brushes below! To get started, open a plain paper that you want to turn into a tag. Or you can open a blank tag from the kit you are working with.
We’ll show it from a plain paper first! Open up a paper, load the word art brushes and then choose one you’d like. Adjust the size if needed and be sure to stamp it on its own layer:
Once your words are stamped, we’re going to crop around the words and merge it to be a word tag:
Next we are going to open an empty tag piece:
Now we’ll find a word art brush that will work in this space and choose a color. Again, stamp it on its own layer so you can move it, if needed!
Now they can be added to a layout. Here is what I created, using these word tags:
