Brushes can bring so much fun to your layouts! They are easy to use and can give more depth and interest to your average layout! I love using them combined with paints to make a plain paper a lot more fun! Brushes are the equivalent of stamps but in the digital format! So if you were a paper scrapper before coming to digital, these are like using stamps with your little ink pads but so much easier! And definitely much cleaner!
To get started and to practice, I have a free set of scribble brushes below! Get them from the Resource Library and see what you can create!
I started with a plain paper. Then I added the brushes on different levels and moved as needed!
You can watch the video below to see how I loaded the brushes and started using them. This is done in Photoshop Elements 11 but will work similarly in PS or other elements.
Once I had my brushes stamped on there, I added the paints and elements and here is my final layout! As you can see, they will work with any kit as a great accent!
