Well, it finally happened, I didn’t take a single photo in the entire week! We even forgot our weekly Sunday photo. The only one I ended up with is a picture sent to us by a family traveling to Disneyland who ran into our son and 3 other missionaries and took their photo with them. They then texted it to us.
I was so sad when I realized that I didn’t have any photos of the week. In the past, that has derailed my weekly scrapping goals. But I was extra determined to not let it do that this time! I don’t want to miss documenting a single week!
And documenting is much more than posting photos. So, while it was a quiet week without lots of different activities, I still found lots I could journal about. And the pages may not be quite as fun to look at with all the pictures, I think my kids will enjoy reading the little snippets of our week and remembering.
So, let this be an example to you! A lack of photos does not mean you can’t document a week or a memory or an event. Use your words. Write down what you remember and how you felt at the time! It is all still part of the story!
I would love to see how your scrapping for this year is going! Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will share your layouts here on the blog! It would be fun to see the things you are working on as well!
And here is today’s download! It’s the last for February! And tomorrow you will get to see the new kit unveiled! I can’t believe it is March!
