Today will kick off my weekly Sunday posts where I hope to post inspirational quotes and things to just make you happy! We all can use a little happy at least once a week, right?
To start things off, I thought I’d talk about gratitude. After all it is National Thank You month! I looked through all kinds of quotes on gratitude, trying to find the one that said what I wanted to say–but better!
I found this one from Oprah:
“The single greatest thing you can do to change your life today would be to start being grateful for what you have right now.”
I think this resonates so much with me because a new year always makes me hopeful that this year I can make just a few changes to make my life just a little better! I don’t expect huge, life altering changes, but baby steps toward the life I dream of living. And the idea that the single greatest thing I could do today, right now, in this moment that would have an impact on my life is to take notice of all I have to be grateful for. And truthfully, I really do have a lot!
So, one of the things I have started doing and hope to continue all year long is writing a few lines each night in my planner of what I am most grateful for, for that day! It really does make a difference. So I challenge you to do the same!
