Whether you are scrapping a whole page or just want to spruce up your photos, these overlays add a great touch! They are easy to use and can be changed up to best fit your photo. And going with the theme this month, of The Beauty Within, I made a whole pack with lots of princess and girly words! But my team reminded me that I had forgotten our boys! So I made up a second set with some good boy words! You can check it out at the end of the post!
To get started, Watch the video below as I show you how easy they are to add to a photo and then customize!
Now it’s your turn to give it a try! Here’s what you’ll need:
Photo Editing Software: Such as Photoshop Elements, Gimp, Canva, Pixlr, Paint Shop Pro, etc.
Overlays: You can use the FREE set from my Resource Library!
As you begin to give these a try, here are a few settings you might want to experiment with:
- Change the color from black to white
- Use a blend mode to make it a Soft Overlay. Duplicate it several times if you want it stronger.
- Clip a paper to it
- Keep it black, but change the opacity
Once you’ve found your favorite combination with the photo and the overlay, save it as a separate file and then add to your scrapbook layouts, pocket layouts or upload to social media!
Here is the pack of more boyish overlays you can practice with!
